Very pleased with my purchase. Was amazed how well it fit in my hand. Made in usa and a Christian based company. What's not like.
Love the knife, this is my 4th Dawson and won’t be the last. Excellent craftsmanship. Durable, wicked sharp, and the concave grind they do is magical. Headed to the woods with it soon. Trust these with your life need be.
Thanks Dawson for the awesome knife, this reaper is my new favorite
Really lovin my new Dawson Woodsman, a beautifully made high quality knife, that fits in my hand perfectly, and is super sharp and sharp looking as well, I have many Dawson knives, and the Woodsman is my favorite Dawson, just as the rest of the Dawson knives I have are my favorite!
What a great blade. Nice craftsmanship and feel, just like all the other Dawson knives I own. Handle and blade are slightly on the slimmer size, so that may be something to consider. All around great blade though
Incredible tool! Only Hatchet on the internet that I have seen made with Magnacut steel! Outstanding craftsmanship and quality from Dawson knives. Truly an heirloom quality hatchet that I will pass down for generations. I used to be a Montana knife company customer but now I carry Dawson! Great Christian company. Deus Vult!
This knofe is absolutely fantastic, I love the way it feels and the way it cuts, and it seems to be able to take quite a beating.

Very well explained. I have just ordered one of your Javalina knives, and was interested in the blade and handle composition. Reading about both, plus the bending-don’t try this at home-makes me even more excited anticipating the delivery of this blade. And, at 69, it’s not easy to get me excited. Mike

I’ve studied on blade steels a little for the last few years, and this article is the best simplified explanation on 3V that I’ve read. I appreciate it.

Great article, the knife I’ve been using for years is a Blackjack Tac Ops4 1095 blade that was triple heated with sct and dct cryogenic treatments. It has been extremely tough, holds a good edge and is easy to sharpen. I am interested in a CPM 3V knife but I’m not sure about its difficulty in sharpening in the field. Your blades look awesome but most are sold out, so please email me when they become available.
Thank you
