Crafted from premium CPM-Magnacut stainless steel in heavy-duty .210" stock, the Shepherd features a 3 7/8" blade that is highly resistant to corrosion or staining. Thanks to our own specialty heat treat, Dawson blades stay sharp up to twice as long as other premium steels. 

Our American-made G10 handle says, "Aw, that's cute" to rain, snow, mud and just about anything else you can think of. We designed all our handles for secure, comfortable, hotspot-free use in all seasons and textured them for improved grip when the going gets wet.

The Shepherd also features a completely redesigned GEN 2 Carbon Fiber Kydex sheath, featuring an improved, rattle-free fit, horizontal, vertical, MOLLE and beltless carry options and more. Not a knife that we would find in a box store

When I unpacked it, held it, it felt like; I guess what a real knife should, perfect, heavy, beyond sharp, handsome.
